The mission of the society to Europe started in the United Kingdom in 2000.
Fr. Cosmas Ikirodah MSP came to Clifton Diocese in February 2000. Four months later, Fr. Addison Okpeh joined the Archdiocese of Southwark. These two pioneer missionaries worked for two years before other MSP priests started joining them.
In 2002 Fr Eustace Durugbo and Fr Casmir Dike arrived to join Fr Addison Okpeh in Southwark Archdiocese. By April 2012 we have ten priests working in Southwark Archdiocese.
The Bishop of Leeds invited us to work in his diocese. In 2005 Fr John Mbanorr arrived in the diocese. He was joined later in 2006 by Fr Vitalis Kondo. In 2007 and 2008, two MSP priests have since joined the diocese while Fr. John Mbanorr has been reassigned to another foreign mission.
In April 2005 Fr. John Eze was assigned to the St. Patrick Fathers.
2006 marked another growth in the mission, two of our priests Fr Raymond Abuga and Innocent Abonyi started their mission in Northampton diocese.
The Archdiocese of Westminster in 2006 invited the society and Fr Emmanuel Ogunnaike was assigned.
In 2008 the diocese of Portsmouth signed a contract with the society. Fr. Gerald Onyejuluwa MSP who has been assistant parish priest of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Deptford in Southwark was assigned to lead our mission in Portsmouth.
